I miss Tennessee...

This is so awesome, I couldn't ignore it.

Tenn. couple accused of assault using Cheetos

SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. – Authorities said a couple got into a fight using Cheetos. The Bedford County Sheriff's Department said a 40-year-old man and 44-year-old woman became involved in a 'verbal altercation.' Somehow, the orange puffy snacks were used in the assault.

Deputies said they were charged with domestic assault. No one was hurt.

According to the Shelbyville Times-Gazette, both posted bond of $2,500.

Opposite composites

I've always been fascinated by words, especially when they're put together in silly ways. I came across this delight in Schott's Vocab, a NY Times blog, which showed the winning entries of a contest involving antonyms. Fascinating. Here are some of the highlights that tickled me:

Dog-woman-don’t. (Kathmandu.)
The Small Anti-Social Dwarf. (The Big Friendly Giant.)
Nothing Noisy off the Eastern Back. (All Quiet on the Western Front.)
Leaving Dead. (Staying Alive.)
Childbirth off the Occidental Local. (Murder on the Orient Express.)
A Pitcher out of the Bourbon. (The Catcher in the Rye.)
Slave Abel. (Citizen Kane.)
Obscure and Absent Safety. (Clear and Present Danger.)
Pink Monk. (Blue Nun.)
Daughters and Haters. (Sons and Lovers.)
The Bad, the Good, and the Pretty. (The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.)
Few Hate It Cold. (Some Like It Hot.)

I tried to come up with some of my own, but they're not quite as funny.

The blushing bride met her pale groom, and flew to their honeymoon where they sat in the bitter sun. But the marriage quickly soured, as happy days turned into sad nights. Finally, the husband asked his wife if their love was salvageable, to which she replied, "How can you handle the truth, when you've only neglected the lie?" She sighed. "Yes, I am in love with Keyboard Cat. And I discovered pictures of you and Acoustic Dog. We should cut our losses and dissolve this union, and thus extend our victories and coagulate separately."

Too depressing? Perhaps depressingly not funny. By the way, I really like pink monks. V.v.V

So magical...

Retardedness everywhere! Especially in my brainzz.
